holidays norm and penny style

my sister penny and her husband norman have hosted a family party for as long as i can remember. the unique thing about this party is that only siblings are invited so all those annoying kids and grandkids are out of site and out of mind. it is always a great time and almost always everyone attends. we did miss my sister debbie this year.

soup kitchen bond style

we had our annual christmas party with madelyns family a few weeks ago and as always it was very nice. most of the bond family was out in force with a few exceptions. we missed the alfords from happy valley, but the rest of the roudy crew were there. traditionaly soup is the main attractiojn and this year was no disappointment. there was all sorts of varieties but this guy always looks forward to bonnies clam chowder, although it was difficult to make a bad choice and from the chili to the cheese soup it was all excellent. it is always nice to see everyone during the holidays and my hat goes off to paul and jennifer for hosting this for the past few years. they are brave souls and we want them to know we appreciate it.
